News people in Canada...
…Who report on the street in the middle of the winter usually wear hats because it’s Canada and it’s FREAKIN’ cold. It makes them more human to me because they inevitable look dorky.
On flying:
crookedwinding:
devish:
The first part is easy. All it requires is simply the ability to throw yourself forward with all your weight, and the willingness not to mind that it’s going to hurt. […] Bob and float, float and bob. Ignore all considerations of your weight and simply let yourself float higher. Do not listen to what anybody says to you at this point because they are unlikely to say...

Macarons...
…I’m just plain bored of seeing pictures of them. They’re pretty and cute and Parisien but, really, they’re beyond clichéd. Is there a cuter cookie than the macaron? Please, dear god, someone find one, start taking photos of it and tumbl it. Pronto. My eyes are being raped by all that sugar.

Verona De Tessant: Basic, like how to live.
Burt Farlander: We're not fuck-ups.
Verona De Tessant: We have a cardboard window.
Burt Farlander: [Looks at window] We're not fuck-ups.
Verona De Tessant: [Whispers] I think we might be fuck-ups.
Burt Farlander: [Whispers back] We're not fuck-ups.

Letting go
Seems I have to let them BOTH go. If it’s not hard enough to learn to let one person I cared about go, I must do it twice? But somehow, I’m not sad about it because it had to happen like this. I’m mostly whistful. There’s a difference, trust me.
Love is always a good thing no matter how much it hurts. Even after it’s over,...

I got to my car, found a shattered passenger side window, glass everywhere My friends purse gone My purse gone Mp3 gone Wallet gone License gone Makeup gone Guitar in my trunk gone Nikon D40 gone
My life was in that car. Out of all the things I had, those were the things I loved the most. God saw that I was being too materialistic, so he took away my prized possessions.

Helpful or obnoxious?
Yesterday, I was walking my bike down Bloor street going to get some snacks at a local café with a friend, when a young, tall, blonde guy said that I should really be careful of my purse in my back basket. His friend said that they’d been putting stuff in my basket to see if I’d notice and I didn’t, so that my purse back there would be really easy to steal. They were right, so I...
